Although we offer dementia care across all 16 of our homes, three of those offer dedicated dementia care. Our St Catherine’s care home in York is our flagship dementia home and The Manor, our dedicated homes offering young onset dementia-specific care, operate in two locations: one in York, sitting on the same grounds as St Catherine’s, with the other sharing the same grounds as Eighton Lodge. All three of our dedicated dementia homes provide us with valuable data, experience and expertise that are both sharable in terms of knowledge and transferable when it comes to skills - which offers huge benefits to all of our other homes.
