Wylde adventure

Today's a very exciting day for Sunderland, as the Tall Ships Races arrive into Roker. We've sponsored 15 year old, Christopher Harmeson, who has been selected by his school to be a sail trainee on the Wylde Swan ship. Sailing on the Tall Ships is a great experience for Christopher, as he is hoping to go in the Royal Navy when he leaves school- "It would not be possible for me to go onto the tall ships if I didn't get the sponsorship from Wellburn Care Homes. As it is now possible, I am so grateful and excited!" Christopher leaves Roker on the 14th of July, and will sail to Denmark over the coming week. Good Luck Team Wylde Swan!
