A little piece of magic

We’re really excited here at Wellburn, as we have just installed our first Tovertafel ‘Magic Table’ at Glenholme House, which has made us the first care provider in the North East to offer this facility to our residents. The Magic Table was developed for people in the moderate to later stages of Dementia. The award winning, dynamic activity is based around interactive light projections onto a table, allowing our residents to get fully involved in a variety of different games and activities, which stimulates physical and cognitive activity, and encourages social interaction. We pride ourselves on providing first class dementia care, and are really excited to be further enriching the lives of our residents through the innovation of the Magic Table.
